Have we ever discussed the basic thought of RSS? It is social work, no. Is it to help the oppressed section of society and victims of natural disasters? No, these are not the goals of RSS. Goal of RSS is to establish a Hindu Rashtra. RSS claims that it is a cultural organization but cultural organizations do not spread hatred among the communities. We should refrain from strengthening such organizations for the sake of unity and integrity of nation.

Hi Sachin,

Yes, RSS do talk about the Hindu Rashtra. I agree iwth you. But RSS has a huge chain of volunteers in the country which can help the government, NGOs for the success of any program. Our government has umteen programs but they dont reach to the people. RSS is a communal or nationalistic party. You decide. But no can deny the fact that they are one of teh most descpline in their activities.

We can take favour from the organisation for the betterment of the country. I also asserted in my article that RSS needs overhauling.

Hi Arvind,

HIndu Rashtra is a word which was coined by the RSS in 1925 after its inception. The organisation wanted a seperate Hindu Rashtra after partition as Pakistan became a muslim country. They want that minorities should live in the India by winning the trust of majorities(Hindu).

Nobody is afraid of term “Hindu Rashtra”. But every one is afraid of India becoming a Hindu Rashtra according to the ideology of RSS. What the Golvalkar has written about Hindu Rashtra in the “Bunch of Thoughts” can make any body to be afraid of it.

I do agree that RSS is a disciplined organization but could we ignore the role played by RSS, right from independence struggle till now in orchestrating the communal riots throughout the country.They can not overhaul their basic thought of hatred towards other religions. The military of Hitler was also disciplined but they bring only devastation. It is not hidden that founders of RSS were inspired by the working style of Hitler.
